Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31 December 2026.
- Those who are in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally, subject to the condition that they produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31 December 2026.
- Matriculate Ex-servicemen who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after completing not less than 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the Union, are also eligible.
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02 April 1998 and not later than 01 April 2006 (both days inclusive).

The selection process consists of three phases:

Phase III: Local Language Proficiency Test
- Candidates not having studied the specified local language (in 10th or 12th) will have to appear for this test.
- Candidates who fail to qualify will not be offered appointment.
- Those who produce 10th/12th mark sheet evidencing study of the specified local language are exempted.
- Trained apprentices of SBI are given 2.5% of maximum marks (5 marks out of 200) as bonus marks in the Main Examination.
- Bonus marks added to aggregate score for final merit list.

Important Instructions
- Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only.
- No Inter-Circle/Inter-State Transfer for 5 years of service.
- Candidates must be proficient in the specified local language of the State applied for.
- OBC candidates must belong to "Non-Creamy Layer".
