Educational Qualification

• Essential: Diploma / Graduation / Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Certification: Must have Siemens Xcelerator NX Design Associate Certification.

Work Experience

• Total Experience: 05 years
• Relevant Experience: 03 years experience in 3D modelling of Loco / Coaches using UG NX Software.
• Area of Experience: Minimum 03 years' experience in projects of 3-D modelling work for Coaches / Locomotive using Unigraphics (UG NX) Software.
• Other Requirements:
• Functional knowledge of Engineering Constraints & Standards.
• Good Communication and presentation skills to multiple stakeholders.
• Desirable: Siemens NX, understanding of 3-D data & drawing expertise, hands-on experience with Rolling Stock OEMs/Railways PSU/PSUs.

Note: The period of training (except on-the-job training) / internship / teaching / academic / fellowship / PhD research experience shall not be counted as a part of experience.

Age Limit

• Not exceeding 62 years as on the last date of submission of application (15 September 2026).
• No extension will be given beyond the age of 65 years.

Payment for Services / Remuneration

• Monthly Fee: Rs. 1,25,000/- per month.
• Payment will be released by RITES Limited within one week after completion of the month based on attendance registered.
• The Individual Consultant will be entitled to payment for service only and will not be entitled to any statutory benefits like PF/ESI/Gratuity etc.

Selection Process

• Document Scrutiny: All candidates who successfully submit their online application shall be provisionally allowed to appear for Document Scrutiny/verification process wherein the eligibility of candidates with respect to the post applied will be verified.
• Shortlisting: Based upon fulfilling the conditions of eligibility, candidates shall be shortlisted for Interview.
• Interview: The mode of Selection is Interview only. Candidates will be evaluated based on a variety of parameters such as Technical skills, subject knowledge, experience, communication and interpersonal skills.
• CV Approval: The CVs of all candidates found suitable in the process will be shared with the Client and the candidate/s whose CV/s are approved by the Client will be issued with the Engagement Letter.

Important Terms & Conditions

• The Individual Consultant shall have the legal status of an Independent Consultant vis-à-vis RITES Limited and shall not be regarded as a "staff member" or "official" of RITES Limited.
• The engagement is of a temporary nature and RITES Limited can cancel the appointment at any time without providing any reason.
• Individual Consultant appointed on a full-time basis would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of Consultancy.
• The Individual Consultant shall be entitled to leave at the rate of 1.5 days of each completed month with no accumulation of leave beyond a calendar year.
• Income Tax or any other tax liable to be deducted will be deducted at source.
• Police verification of the Individual Consultant shall be done and in case of negative report, the contract shall cease to exist with immediate effect.
• No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion.
• Age, experience, and all other eligibility criteria shall be reckoned as on the last date of submission of application (15 September 2026).
• The application fee for all categories of posts is NIL.
