Eligibility Criteria

1. Deputation (Including Short Term Contract):

Officers of Central or State or Union Territory Administration or Armed Forces:

• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; OR
• With two years service in the grade rendered after appointment on a regular basis in posts in Level-13A (Rs. 1,31,100 - 2,16,600) or equivalent; OR
• With three years service in the grade rendered after appointment on a regular basis in posts in Level-13 (Rs. 1,18,500 - 2,14,100) or equivalent.

2. Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Graduation degree plus Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from a recognized University or Institute.
• Experience: Twenty years of work experience in Administration or Operations.

3. Promotion (Departmental Candidates):

• Departmental Joint General Manager Grade-II in Level-13 (Rs. 1,18,500 - 2,14,100/-) with three years regular service in the grade will also be considered along with outsiders.
• If selected, the post will be deemed to have been filled by promotion.

4. Age Limit:

• Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 54 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications (29 September 2026).

Important Notes

• Note 1: Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation.
• Note 2: Deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

Period of Deputation

• The period of deputation shall be three years, which could be extended to five years.
• Terms and conditions of deputation will be governed by DoP&T's OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 17 June 2010, as amended from time to time.
