Rajasthan State Power Sector has released the official notification for the Common Recruitment of Junior Engineer-I, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II in five Vidyut Nigams of Rajasthan. The recruitment notification was published under Advertisement No. RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27/01. A total of 2,005 vacancies have been announced across RVUN, RVPN, JVVN, AVVN, and JdVVN. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official websites from 05 August 2026. The last date to submit the online application is 25 August 2026.

About Rajasthan State Power Companies
Rajasthan State Power Sector comprises five State Power Companies formed on 19th July 2000 under the Government of Rajasthan. These companies are engaged in Generation, Transmission, and Distribution of electricity across the State and are committed to ensuring reliable, quality, and affordable 24x7 power supply in Rajasthan. The five power companies are:
- Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (RVUN) – The State Genco (Generation)
- Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd. (RVPN) – The State Transco (Transmission)
- Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JVVN) – Distribution (Jaipur & surrounding districts)
- Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (AVVN) – Distribution (Ajmer & surrounding districts)

Educational Qualification
Junior Engineer-I (Electrical):
- Full Time four years' Graduation Degree in Engineering as a regular student or AMIE in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation & Control/Power Systems & High Voltage/Power Electronics/Power Engineering or equivalent from a University/Institution established by Law in India and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.
- Full Time four years' Graduation Degree in Engineering as a regular student or AMIE in Mechanical/Production/Industrial/Manufacturing or equivalent from a University/Institution established by Law in India and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.
- Full Time four years' Graduation Degree in Engineering as a regular student or AMIE in Civil/Structural or equivalent from a University/Institution established by Law in India and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.

- RVPN (Electrical/Civil): 43 Years
- Age relaxation as per Rajasthan Government rules:
- SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS: 5 Years
- General Category Women: 5 Years
- SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS Women: 10 Years
- PwBD: 5 Years (in addition to category relaxation)
- Ex-Servicemen: 15 Years (subject to max 50 years)
- In-service candidates of respective Nigam: No upper age limit

- Fee once paid is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted for any other recruitment.
Salary & Remuneration
- During Probation (2 Years): Fixed Remuneration of ₹23,700/- per month
- After Probation: Basic Pay of ₹33,800/- per month (Level-10, first cell)
- Allowances and other benefits shall be paid as per relevant rules.
Selection Process
- Phase I - Common Written Competitive Examination (Online):
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Part-A (60% weightage): Degree level Engineering syllabus
- Part-B (40% weightage): Reasoning & Mental Ability, Mathematics, General Knowledge & Everyday Science, Hindi General, English General
- No Interview
- Negative marking for wrong answers
- Minimum Passing Marks:
- UR Category: 30% marks in Part-A & Part-B
- SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS/Ex-servicemen/PwBD: 20% marks in Part-A & Part-B
- Merit List: Prepared separately for each post and discipline based on marks secured in written exam. In case of tie, elder candidate shall be placed higher in merit. Preference given to candidates who completed apprenticeship training in a Vidyut Nigam.
- Documents Verification: Successful candidates (approx. 2 times of vacancies) called for verification of documents.
- Final Appointment: Based on merit, preference for Company, and availability of category-wise vacancies.

- Step 1: Visit any of the official websites:
- Step 2: Click on the "APPLY ONLINE" tab on the homepage.
- Step 3: Register yourself by clicking "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" and note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Step 4: Fill the application form carefully with all required details.
- Step 5: Upload scanned images:
- Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm, 20-50 kb, 200 x 230 pixels)
- Signature (10-20 kb, 140 x 60 pixels)
- Left Thumb Impression (20-50 kb, 240 x 240 pixels)
- Hand Written Declaration (50-100 kb, 800 x 400 pixels)
- Step 6: Give preferences for Companies and Examination Centres (6 choices in Rajasthan).
