Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality:

• Only Indian Nationals need to apply.

2. Educational Qualification:

• Graduate degree from recognized university in professional course (BE/B.Tech) in First Division in respective subject with valid cut off GATE Score (2024, 2025 & 2026 are acceptable).
• OR Post Graduate degree from recognized university in professional course (ME/M.Tech) in First Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level in respective subject.

3. Age Limit (as on 01 September 2026):

• Upper Age Limit: 28 years for JRF.
• Relaxation as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Fellowship Stipend

• Stipend: ₹. 37,000/- per month (plus admissible House Rent Allowance) as per Government norms.
• Tenure: Initial offer for a period of 2 years, extendable up to a maximum of 4 years as per provisions of the Research Fellows scheme in DRDO.

Selection Process

• Email Intimation: Candidates must send their willingness by email at hrdlrd2010@gmail.com by 25 September 2026.
• Document Verification: Verification of original documents will be carried out from 09:00 AM onwards.
• Written Test: If necessary, a written test will be conducted.
• Interview: Personal interview will be conducted on the same day.
• A panel for the vacancies available and future anticipated vacancies will be drawn based on the order of merit.
• The panel will operate for a period of one year.

• Reporting Time: 08:30 AM to 09:30 AM at LRDE Main Gate Reception. Late arrivals will not be allowed.
