🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Education:
• Candidates should possess:
  • For Scientists
    • First Class Post Graduate Degree in Forestry / Botany / Agriculture or related Sciences
      OR
    • First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology from a recognized University
• Desirable Qualification:
  • Doctorate in Forestry or related sciences
• For Indian Forest Service Officers
  • Officer serving at Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests level or above
• Age Limit: Maximum Age Limit 57 Years as on 30 November 2026
• Experience:
  • Minimum 30 years of service experience with forestry research background including at least 5 years administrative experience.
• Other Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Forestry Research
    OR
  • 3 years Forestry Research + 2 years Forestry Education / Extension experience
