Important Notes
- This is NOT a salaried government job. Home Guards are voluntary members. They receive allowance only for the days deployed on duty.
- Tenure: 4 years (renewable as per Jharkhand Home Guard Volunteer Rules, 2014)

- Only one application per candidate. Multiple applications will be rejected.
- False information will lead to automatic rejection.
- Dispute Resolution: Jharkhand Home Guard Volunteer Rules, 2014 shall prevail.

- 50% reservation is available for women candidates.
- Technical Urban Home Guard candidates must possess technical skills.
