Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on the date of notification):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 50 years

Educational Qualification:

• No educational qualification is prescribed.
• Candidate must be able to speak in Kannada language.

Nationality:

• Must be an Indian citizen.

Experience (Preference will be given to candidates with):

• At least 1 year of experience as a civic worker, loader/UGD helper, cleaner, or helper on daily wage/contract/outsourced basis in the respective City Municipal Council of Bangalore South District.
• Experience working at waste processing units, public toilets, or zero waste management units.
• Family members of civic workers who died due to COVID-19 or other reasons while working on daily wage/contract/outsourced basis.
• Victims identified under the Manual Scavengers Act or their family members (husband, wife, son/daughter).

Salary & Benefits

• Salary will be fixed as per Minimum Wages Act by the Labour Department.
• PF and ESI facilities will be provided.
• No other service or financial benefits such as compassionate appointment, pension, gratuity, etc. will be provided.
• Selected candidates will be engaged on a temporary basis.

Selection Process

• Selection Committee: A selection committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner.
• Preference: Preference will be given to candidates with experience as daily wage/contract/outsourced workers in the respective City Municipal Council.
• Final Selection: Based on the recommendations of the selection committee.
