About National Authority CAMPA

The National Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (National Authority CAMPA) is a subordinate statutory organization under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. It was constituted under Section 8 of the Compensatory Afforestation Fund (CAF) Act, 2016. The National Authority CAMPA came into existence on 30 September 2018 as per the provisions of the CAF Act 2016. The authority is responsible for the management and utilization of funds collected for compensatory afforestation across the country.

Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility for All Posts:

• Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organization.
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis OR a post in the prescribed Pay Level from any organized service having five years of regular service in the Grade.
• Maximum age limit: 56 years as on 01.01.2025.

Post-wise Eligibility:

1. Under Secretary (Level-11):

• Excellent note-taking/drafting skills.
• Experience of dealing with Court Cases, Parliament matters, Vigilance, RTI, etc.
• Minimum 5-10 years' experience of handling budget and accounts matters in Ministries/Departments of the Government of India.

2. Senior Accounts Officer (Level-11):

• Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organisation.
• Holding analogous post on regular basis OR Level-11 post with 5 years regular service.

3. Section Officer (Level-7):

• Persons having handled a similar nature of job shall be given preference.

4. Technical Officer (Forestry) (Level-7):

• Responsibilities will include examination of Annual Plan of Operations/Policy matters of State Authorities, monitoring of different activities, formulate proposals for new schemes.

5. Assistant Section Officer (Level-7):

• Initial examination of proposals relating to establishment finance and regulatory matters, and maintenance of Section records.

6. Accountant/Auditor (Level-5):

• Officers from Organised Accounts/Audit service.

7. PPS (Level-11):

• Providing all types of secretarial assistance to Members.

8. Sr. PS (Level-8):

• Providing all types of secretarial assistance to Senior Officers.

9. PA (Level-7):

• Providing all types of secretarial assistance to Senior Officers.

10. Legal Assistant/Law Officer (Level-6):

• Keeping all legal records ready and preliminary examination of cases from legal angle, submission of draft Petition/Rejoinders, etc.

• The pay of the selected officer will be regulated in accordance with DOP&T OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt(Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended from time to time.
