Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality/Citizenship:
- Citizen of India; or
- Subject of Nepal; or
- Subject of Bhutan; or
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962; or
- Person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc.
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 26 Years
- General: 26 Years + Actual service in defence forces + 3 Years (Max 45 Years)
- SC/ST: 31 Years + Actual service in defence forces + 3 Years (Max 45 Years)
- OBC: 29 Years + Actual service in defence forces + 3 Years (Max 45 Years)
- Agniveer: 21 Years + Actual service as Agniveer + 3 Years
- Pass in 10th Standard or its equivalent examination.
- Should not have passed Graduation or its equivalent.
- Should be able to speak, read and write in Tamil language.
- Character should be "EXEMPLARY" at the time of valid discharge from Armed Forces.
- Minimum SHAPE-1 or AYE at the time of valid discharge from Armed Forces.
Pay Scale & Emoluments
- Pay Scale: ₹ 19,500 - 665/4 - 22,160 - 830/5 - 26,310 - 990/4 - 30,270 - 1,170/3 - 33,780 - 1,345/3 - 37,815
- Basic pay will be fixed based on the last drawn salary during defence service.
- Additional emoluments as per Industry-wide Bipartite Settlement and Bank's rules.
