Educational Qualification

Clinical Research Coordinator (01 Post):

• Graduate degree in B.Sc. Nursing / Pharmacology / Public Health / Public Health Nursing / Life Sciences / Medical Social Work with one year experience in clinical setting.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Tamil, as the project requires effective communication with patients and facilitating the consenting process.

Research Nurse (Project Nurse - III) (01 Post):

• B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualifications

Clinical Research Coordinator:

• Prior experience in clinical trials and working with cancer patients.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer operations.
• GCP training.

Research Nurse (Project Nurse - III):

• Research/Clinical Experience in Oncology.
• Experience in cancer patient counseling, examination & follow-up.
• Proficiency in local language (Speaking, reading, and writing).
• Basic computer skills in MS Office, Excel, MS Word, and Email.
• Basic knowledge of research methodology.
• Trained in GCP (Good Clinical Practice).

Roles & Responsibilities

Clinical Research Coordinator:

• Recruitment of patients.
• Obtaining informed consent from participants.
• Data entry and management.
• Interventional drug and chemotherapy administration.
• Maintenance of trial files and proper documentation.
• Coordination of randomization processes.
• Monitoring of adverse events.
• Preparation and submission of reports to the Ethics Committee.
• Conducting patient follow-up and ensuring compliance with study protocols.

Research Nurse (Project Nurse - III):

• Patient counseling, consent, and recruitment.
• Data collection, treatment administration, monitoring, and follow-up.
• Sample collection for study-related parameters, quality control.
• Assist in performing regular monitoring, SAE reporting, and follow-up of SAE.
• Assist in quality monitoring of clinical activities and clinical data.
• Participate and assist in the conduct of training and education programs.
• Participate in community outreach programs.
• Participate in all study-related activities and discharge other duties assigned by PI.
