Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL), a strategic initiative of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), has released the official notification for the recruitment of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on selection/lateral induction basis. Educational Qualification
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication / Information Security / Cyber Security / Telecommunications / MCA or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
- Possession of one or more internationally recognized professional certifications such as CISSP / CISM / CISA / CCSP / CEH / ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer / Security+ / GIAC / Cloud Security (AWS/Azure/GCP) / AI/ML Security / Digital Transformation / Data Analytics or equivalent industry-recognized certifications.
- Master's degree in information security / cyber security / computer science / information technology / Electronics / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence / MBA (IT) / MBA (Technology Management) / MBA (Digital Transformation) / Technology Policy / Cyber Law / Risk Management or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 15 years' professional experience in Information Technology / Information Security / Cyber Security / Digital Infrastructure / Technology Governance / Enterprise Risk Management / Digital Payments / Critical Infrastructure / Cloud or Enterprise Technology, in large corporate / PSU / autonomous / Government bodies.
- Out of this, at least 5 years should be in senior leadership / managerial responsibility for cyber security, technology governance, cyber risk, security operations, audit/compliance or digital infrastructure.
- Preference will be given for experience in Cyber Security Governance, SOC, SIEM/SOAR, Incident Response, Cyber Crisis Management, Cloud Security, Zero Trust, IAM/PAM, Vendor Risk Management, Security Audits, ISO 27001/NIST/CERT-In compliance, Digital Payments/FASTag/FinTech ecosystem, Critical Infrastructure, OT/IoT security, Enterprise Technology Management, Data Protection, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery and Cyber Resilience.
Age Limit
- Not more than 50 years as on last date of receipt of Online applications (09 August 2026)
