Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Systems Engineer (ITS) posts for the year 2026. IHMCL, a company jointly promoted by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) along with its Concessionaires and Financial Institutions, invites applications from eligible candidates for a total of 30 vacancies on Direct Recruitment basis.

Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) is a company jointly promoted by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) along with its Concessionaires and Financial Institutions. Educational Qualification
Essential Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Information Technology / Computer Science / Electronics and Communications / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence or combination of any of the above engineering branches from a recognized University / Institute.
- By direct recruitment through the valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Score in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) / Electronics and Communications Engineering (EC) / Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) discipline.
Age Limit
- Not less than 21 years and not exceeding 30 years as on last date of receipt of Online applications (02 August 2026)
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC: 3 Years
- Candidates with 3 years continuous service in Central Govt. (same or allied cadres): 5 Years
- Persons ordinarily domiciled in U.T. of J&K during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989: 5 Years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD):
- SC/ST: 15 Years
- OBC: 13 Years
- General: 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: Period of Military Service + 3 Years

Selection Process
- Screening of applications based on eligibility criteria and qualifications.
- For Systems Engineer (ITS): Selection based on merit of the Valid GATE Score 2025/2026.
- IHMCL reserves the right to invite candidates for interview based on cut-off for respective categories.
- In case of large number of applications, IHMCL will adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates for interaction/interview.
- For Final Merit List: If two or more candidates in same category have equal scores/marks, the person older in age shall be placed higher in the merit list.

Important Instructions
- Candidates can apply ONLINE only through the IHMCL website.
- Candidates must fill their correct and active email addresses as all correspondence will be made through email only.
- The crucial date for determination of eligibility shall be the last date for receipt of ONLINE applications (02 August 2026).
- Incomplete applications in any respect shall be summarily rejected without any notice.
- OBC candidates must submit OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued during 2026-2027.
- EWS candidates must submit Income & Asset Certificate for FY 2025-2026 issued after 01.04.2026.
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates must submit certificates in the prescribed format from designated authorities.
- Candidates in final year of Engineering must submit Degree/Provisional Certificate by 31 August 2026, failing which candidature will be cancelled.
- No change in community status indicated in the online application will be allowed.
- All selected candidates will have to execute a Service Bond of ₹3.00 Lakhs for serving IHMCL for a minimum period of 3 years.
- The posts carry all India service liability. Only those willing to serve anywhere in India may apply.
- Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts only.
- IHMCL reserves the right to increase/decrease/change the number of posts or not fill some/all posts.
- Canvassing or bringing influence in any form will disqualify the candidature.
