Eligibility Criteria
1. Research Associate (RA):
- PhD in Food Processing Engineering / Food Engineering & Technology / Food Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Desirable: Experience in AI/ML/Simulation tools in relevant field.
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years as on receipt of application.
- Post Graduate Degree (MSc) in Food Science & Technology in first division from recognized University/Institute with valid NET/GATE score.
- Post Graduate Degree (M.Tech) in Polymer Science / Polymer Science & Technology / Polymer Engineering in first division.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview.
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
- OBC: 3 years relaxation
Stipend & Fellowship Details
- Research Associate (RA): ₹ 67,000/- per month + HRA as per DRDO rules.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹ 37,000/- per month + HRA.
- Tenure (RA): 2 years.
- Tenure (JRF): Initially 2 years, extendable to 3rd and 4th year based on performance.

Selection Process
- Stage 1: Written Test (Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions) - if necessary, to shortlist candidates for interview.
- Stage 2: Personal Interview.
- Final selection will be based on performance in the interview.
- A panel of selected candidates will be prepared for available and future anticipated vacancies.
- The panel will operate for a period of one year from the date of interview.
- Selection will be entirely on merit basis.
