Educational Qualification
- For B.Sc. Candidates: Full-time (regular) B.Sc. degree with First Division from a recognized Indian University/Institute in Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Food Science & Technology / Life Sciences / Polymer Science.
- For B.E./B.Tech Candidates: Full-time (regular) B.E./B.Tech degree with First Division from a recognized Indian University/Institute in any branch of Engineering.
- Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026.
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2022 are not eligible.
- Only regular candidates (full-time) who have completed the qualifying examination are eligible. Correspondence or distance learning degrees are not eligible.
Age Limit
- Age limit will be followed as per the Apprenticeship Rules and guidelines of the Government of India.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per government norms.
Application Fee
- There is no application fee for this DIBT DRDO Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026.
- All eligible candidates can apply free of cost.
Salary & Stipend
- Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 12,300/- per month as per Apprentices Act, 1961 and amendments thereof.
- No other allowance will be provided during the entire training period.
- No Government quarters/hostel accommodation/transport will be provided to the apprentices by the establishment during the training period.
Selection Process
- Screening of Applications: Applications received by post will be screened based on eligibility criteria and academic merit.
- Merit List: A merit list of selected candidates will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Verification of Credentials: Verification of credentials will be done for selected candidates prior to creation of contract. In case of any deviation or non-conformity with the desired qualification, candidature shall be summarily rejected.
- Contract Execution: Selected candidates must execute a Contract for 12 months of training as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- All correspondence including the offer letter (if selected) will be done through E-mail only.

- Step 1: Visit the official DRDO website at www.drdo.gov.in or the DIBT page.
- Step 2: Download the official advertisement and application form for DIBT Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026.
- Step 3: Fill the application form completely as per the prescribed format.
- Step 4: Affix a recent passport-size photograph in the space provided on the application form.
- Step 5: Attach self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents including educational certificates, date of birth proof, category certificate (if applicable), and NATS enrolment number proof.
- Step 6: Send the duly filled application form by POST to the following address before the closing date.

Important Instructions
- All correspondence including the offer letter (if selected) shall be done through E-mail only.
- The period of training will be 12 months commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
- Selected candidates have to submit the "Police Verification Certificate" at the time of joining.
- It shall not be obligatory on the part of DIBT to offer any employment to any apprentice after completion of the training period.
- Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.
- DIBT reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of seats for apprenticeship training.
- Any canvassing or personal follow-up with an intention of influencing the selection process shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
- DIBT reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement/selection process without assigning any reason.
- In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction shall be that of the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi.
- The apprentices will not be provided any Government quarters/hostel accommodation/transport during the training period.
- Candidates must register on https://nats.education.gov.in before applying. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.
