The Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC), Delhi, under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has released the provisional selected candidates list for Apprentice Training Programme 2026-27. The DESIDOC Apprentice Result 2026 has been published on 20 August 2026. Candidates who had applied for the Apprentice Training Programme can now check their selection status by downloading the provisional selected list from the official DRDO website. The last date to join the training is 05 September 2026.

Important Instructions for Selected Candidates

• The provisional selected list is valid for joining from 21 August 2026 to 05 September 2026.
• If a candidate fails to join within the stipulated time period, his/her candidature will not be considered.
• The period of Apprenticeship training is for ONE YEAR from the date of joining.
• Apprentices will have no claim for permanent or temporary appointment on completion of Apprenticeship Training at DESIDOC.
• Candidates are required to arrange accommodation/transport on their own for their stay in Delhi.
• No TA/DA shall be given to candidates for joining DESIDOC.
• Candidates are required to report to DESIDOC, Administration Division, 2nd Floor, Metcalfe House, Civil Lines, Delhi - 110054 for joining on any working day during 21 August 2026 to 05 September 2026.
• All Saturdays & Sundays are observed as closed holidays. Avoid reporting on Saturdays/Sundays/Gazetted holidays.

How to Check DESIDOC Apprentice Result 2026
Candidates who had applied for the DESIDOC Apprentice Training Programme 2026-27 can check their result by following the simple steps given below:

• Step 1: Visit the official DRDO website: www.drdo.gov.in
• Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the "Vacancies" or "What's New" section.
• Step 3: Look for the link titled "Provisionally selected candidates for apprentice training at DESIDOC, Delhi" or "DESIDOC Apprentice Result 2026".
• Step 4: Click on the link to open the PDF file containing the provisional selected list.
• Step 5: The PDF will open with the list of provisionally selected candidates for different categories.
• Step 6: Search for your name, enrolment number, and category in the respective list.
• Step 7: If your name appears in the list, download and save the PDF for future reference.
• Step 8: Read the joining instructions carefully and complete the joining formalities within the stipulated time period (21 August 2026 to 05 September 2026).

Note: Candidates are advised to keep a printout of the result PDF for future reference during the joining process.

• Character Certificate signed by two Gazetted Officers (Will be sent through mail by the Administrative Division)
• Medical Fitness Certificate issued by Govt. Doctor / Registered Medical Practitioner (Will be sent through mail by the Administrative Division)
