Salary & Benefits

• The selected official can opt to draw the grade pay of the post for which they are selected OR their pay plus deputation allowance.
• Deputation Allowance:
  • Outstation officials: 10% of basic pay (subject to maximum Rs. 9,000/-)
  • Local officials: 5% of basic pay (subject to maximum Rs. 4,500/-)
• Deputation period including deputation in another ex-cadre post shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to repatriate the officer at any point of time before completion of deputation period.
