- Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Desirable: Experience in General Administration, maintenance and operation of Lighthouses and other aids to Marine Navigation.
- Age Limit: 35 years for UR, 38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC and 40 years for ST.

- Post Level: Group "A" Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
- Probation: 01 Year.

- Educational Qualification: Degree in Telecommunications/Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communications Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience: Two years' experience in supervisory capacity in the field of radio aids to navigation.
- Desirable: Two years' experience in generation, supply and transmission of power with experience in light lighting small motors and wiring.
- Age Limit: 35 years for UR, 38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC and 40 years for ST.
- Age relaxation: Upto 10 years for PwBD.
