Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
- Pass in Intermediate (10+2) Science examination with Biology as main subject from a recognized Board or University.
- One year experience in treatment of different species of animals in a recognized Veterinary Hospital.
- Candidate must be in Medical Category SHAPE-1.
Eligibility for Deputation
Officers from Central Government, State Government, or Union Territory Police organizations:
- (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
- (a) (ii) Persons holding the rank of Sub-Inspector (Veterinary) in Level-6 in the pay matrix (₹ 35,400 - ₹ 1,12,400/-) or equivalent post and who have rendered not less than five years' regular service in particular grade; or persons eligible for appointment to such posts in the parent cadre or department.
- (b) (i) Pass in Intermediate (10+2) Science with Biology as main subject.
- (b) (ii) One year experience in treatment of different species of animals in a recognized Veterinary Hospital.
- (c) Shall be in Medical Category SHAPE-1.
Age Limit
- Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation including short-term contract shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Important Notes
- Note-1: Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by deputation. Similarly, deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
- Note-2: The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization or department shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
- Note-3: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation including short-term contract shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Re-employment for Ex-Servicemen
- Re-employment of ex-servicemen who have held the same or equivalent rank in the Armed Forces having Medical Category SHAPE-1.
- Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to service within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications prescribed shall also be considered.
- Such persons would be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces, thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.

- Step 2: Download the prescribed application format (Annexure-A) from the advertisement.
- Step 3: Fill the application form completely and accurately in BLOCK LETTERS.

- Step 5: Get the application countersigned by the cadre/appointing authority.
