Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Masters degree in Transport Planning / Transportation Engineering / Infrastructure Engineering (with academic/professional projects related to Transportation Planning)
• OR
• B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with minimum 2+ years professional experience in transportation planning related and GIS.

Age Limit:

• Not above 30 years on the last date of application (14 September 2026).

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of GIS and other software for facilitating road safety audits and design.
• Experience in conducting training activities and capacity building programs.
• Familiarity with traffic simulation models for rural road planning and design.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the GIS Lead in conducting planning audits for PMGSY-III.
• Work in close conjunction with Technical Division.
• Promoting planning standards and procedures for optimizing rural road & bridge planning at different levels (Block, districts and State).
• Develop or use state of the art traffic simulation models for rural road planning and design.
• Develop and conduct capacity building programs through training activities and other capacity development interventions for SRRDA on road & maintenance planning.
• Explore the use of GIS and other softwares in facilitating road safety audits and design.
• Promote survey and research on rural road planning.
