Job Description & Responsibilities
- Support NDMA's implementation of Mitigation projects for forest fires in 19 States and 144 Districts.
- Support NDMA in disaster risk reduction, preparedness, and resilience on forest fire.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and ground-level implementation of forest fire projects and support field-level activities.
- Act as a communication point of contact for regional or thematic campaigns, providing support in tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support in documentation and conducting meetings.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders, institutes, ministries, agencies & states.
- Reporting to Advisor (PP), NDMA.
Educational Qualification
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Disaster Management / Bio-Science / Forestry / Agriculture / Environmental Science / Atmospheric Science / GIS / Geography and Geology Climatology from a recognized University.
- Essential/desirable educational qualifications and experiences will be verified with original certificates.
Experience Required
- Three (03) months to one (01) year experience in the relevant field like Post Graduate Degree in Disaster Management / Bio-Science / Forestry / Environmental Science / Atmospheric Science / GIS / Geography and Geology Climatology / Content Writing or related field.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age Limit: 35 years for Young Consultant.
