The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has released an Open Vacancy Circular inviting applications for the recruitment of 08 Private Secretary posts on a Deputation Basis. Eligible officers serving under the Central Government can apply for these vacancies. About Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) functions under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. It is the country's apex agency responsible for combating drug trafficking and enforcing the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should be officers under the Central Government who satisfy either of the following conditions:
  • Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
  • OR having five years of regular service as Stenographer Grade-I in Level-6 of the Pay Matrix or equivalent.
Appointments will be made strictly on deputation basis as per Government of India rules.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the educational qualifications and service conditions prescribed under the Recruitment Rules applicable to the post of Private Secretary in the Narcotics Control Bureau. Officers must also satisfy the deputation eligibility conditions mentioned in the vacancy circular.
