Eligibility Criteria
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must possess the prescribed AICTE-approved full-time Diploma.
- Minimum aggregate marks:
- 60% for General, EWS & OBC (NCL)
- 50% for SC, ST & PwBD candidates applying against reserved vacancies
- Candidates must possess the required post-qualification experience as specified for the respective post.

- Diploma must be obtained through a regular full-time AICTE-approved course.
- Sandwich Diploma courses are accepted.
- Recognized lateral entry Diploma courses are eligible.
- Part-time, correspondence and distance education Diplomas are not eligible.
- Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as AMIE, BE or B.Tech are not eligible.
- Only the prescribed Diploma discipline will be accepted.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum one year of relevant post-qualification work experience is required.
- One year Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in the relevant discipline will also be considered.
- Experience should be in Refining, Petroleum, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Lube or Power Industry.
- For Mechanical and Electrical disciplines, experience in a reputed Engineering Industry is also acceptable.
- Experience will be calculated as on 01 July 2026.

Selection Process
The selection process for BPCL Non-Management Recruitment 2026 consists of the following stages:
- Stage 1 – Computer Based Test (CBT)
- 100 Objective Type Questions
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 120 Minutes
- Domain Knowledge – 60 Marks
- General Aptitude (English, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness & Current Affairs) – 40 Marks
- No Negative Marking
- Question Paper will be available in English only.
- Stage 2 – Skill / Proficiency Test (SPT)
- Candidates shortlisted based on CBT performance will be called for SPT.
- The Skill/Proficiency Test will be qualifying in nature.
- Document Verification will also be conducted.
- Stage 3 – Pre-Employment Medical Examination
- Final appointment is subject to medical fitness as per BPCL standards.
