Educational Qualification

Technical Assistant (Mechanical) - Post No. 813:

• Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with First Class from a recognized State Board/Institution.

Technical Assistant (Chemical) - Post No. 814:

• Three year Diploma in Chemical Engineering with First Class from a recognized State Board/Institution.

Technician 'B' (Electronic Mechanic) - Post No. 815:

• SSLC/SSC Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in Electronic Mechanic Trade from NCVT.

Technician 'B' (Fitter) - Post No. 816:

• SSLC/SSC Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in Fitter Trade from NCVT.

Draughtsman 'B' (Mechanical) - Post No. 817:

• SSLC/SSC Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Mechanical) Trade from NCVT.

Fireman 'A' - Post No. 802:

• Post No. 813 to 817: Maximum 35 years (18 years minimum)
• Post No. 802 (Fireman 'A'): Maximum 25 years (18 years minimum)
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years (for reserved posts)
  • OBC: 3 years (for reserved posts)
  • Ex-Servicemen, PWBD, Departmental candidates, Meritorious Sportspersons, Widows, Divorced Women: As per Government of India orders
• Note: Age relaxation is not applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against Un-reserved posts.

• Fee exempted categories (Female/SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen): Full refund
• Other candidates: ₹250/- retained, ₹500/- refunded

For Post No. 802, 815, 816 & 817:

• All applicants: ₹500/-
• Fee exempted categories (Female/SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen): Full refund
• Other candidates: ₹100/- retained, ₹400/- refunded

Note: Refund will be made only to candidates who appear for the written test.

Selection Process

For Post No. 813, 814, 815, 816 & 817:

• Phase 1: Written Test
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Total Questions: 80 Multiple Choice Questions
  • Marks: 1 mark for each correct answer
  • Negative Marking: 0.33 marks for each wrong answer
  • Syllabus: Curriculum based
  • Qualifying Marks: UR - 32/80 (40%), Reserved - 24/80 (30%)
• Phase 2: Skill Test
  • Purely on 'Go-No-Go' basis
  • Shortlisted in 1:5 ratio (minimum 10 candidates)
  • Marks obtained in Skill Test will not be considered for selection
  • Qualifying Marks: UR - 50/100 (50%), Reserved - 40/100 (40%)
• Final Selection: Based purely on marks obtained in Written Test, from candidates who qualify in Skill Test.
• Tie-breaker: Academic scores of the notified qualification.

For Post No. 802 (Fireman 'A'):

• Written Test
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

Important Instructions

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
• The prescribed qualifications should be from a recognized State Board/Institution.

• Candidates working in Central/State Government, PSUs, Autonomous bodies must produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

• TA/DA will not be paid for attending the Written Test.
• Outstation candidates called for Skill Test/PET will be paid to and fro Second Class Railway fare/bus fare by the shortest route on production of ticket.
• Candidates should upload the correct photo as per specifications. Applications with unclear photos will be considered invalid.
