IWAI UDC Recruitment 2026 Notification Out | Apply for 6 Upper Division Clerk Posts on Deputation Basis @ iwai.nic.in

Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has released a brief employment notice for filling up Six vacant posts of Upper Division Clerk (UDC) on deputation basis. The recruitment is open for Indian Nationals working in offices of Central/State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, Statutory or Autonomous bodies.

The Upper Division Clerk (UDC) posts are to be filled on deputation basis initially for a period of three years. The last date for receipt of applications is 24 August 2026 (45 days from the date of publication in Employment News). Eligible and interested candidates are advised to apply through proper channel in the prescribed proforma before the closing date.

Eligibility Criteria

• The post is open to Indian Nationals working in:

• Central Government Offices
• State Government Offices
• Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
• Statutory or Autonomous Bodies

• Officers holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department.

OR

• Officers with 5 years of service in the grade of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.

• Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years on the closing date of application.
• Deputation Period: Initially for 03 years (shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years).

How to Apply

• Applications should be submitted in the prescribed proforma available on the official website www.iwai.gov.in
• The application form must be duly signed with a recent photograph affixed.
• Attach self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates and experience certificates.
• Attach copies of APARs for the past 05 years (from 2020-2021 onwards).
• Attach Vigilance Clearance and Integrity Certificate from the competent authority.
• Candidates working in Central/State Governments/UTs/PSUs/Statutory/Autonomous Bodies must submit their application Through Proper Channel.
• In case of anticipated delay, an advance copy of the application may be sent to reach before the closing date.
• The application should be sent in a closed envelope super scribing "Application for the post of Upper Division Clerk (UDC) on deputation basis, against Employment Notice No. IWAI-12/4/2022-Admin. Rectt. Dated 10.07.2026".

• The decision of the Authority regarding eligibility of a candidate shall be final.
