AAI Eastern Region Apprentices Recruitment 2026 Notification Out | Apply Online for 140 Graduate/Diploma/ITI Apprentice Posts
Airports Authority of India (AAI), Eastern Region has released the official notification for engagement of Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentices for the year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship program will be conducted in RHQ and various airports across the Eastern Region. Candidates from West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, and Andaman Nicobar are eligible to apply.
AAI Eastern Region invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for a one-year Apprenticeship Program. A total of 140 vacancies have been announced for Graduate, Diploma, and ITI apprentices. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the respective apprenticeship portals (NATS/NAPS) before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be Indian Nationals only.
- Candidates must be from Eastern Region states/UTs: West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, and Andaman Nicobar.
- Candidates must have passed Degree/Diploma/ITI in or after 2024 as on 30 June 2026.
- Graduate Apprentices: Engineering Degree holders in relevant disciplines.
- Diploma Apprentices: Diploma holders in relevant disciplines.
- ITI Apprentices: ITI pass in relevant trades.

- Candidates are required to register themselves on the respective apprenticeship portals based on their qualification.

- Search for the concerned AAI Establishment ID and submit the online application.
- Applications submitted through any other mode shall not be accepted.
- Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying.

Important Conditions
- The apprenticeship will be for a period of one year as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- AAI reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of apprenticeship seats or cancel the engagement process without assigning any reason.
- During the period of Apprenticeship, candidates shall be governed by the Apprentices Act 1961 (as amended) and commensurate policies/rules of the organization.
- Selected candidates will be posted at RHQ and various airports in the Eastern Region.

1. What is the total number of vacancies for AAI Eastern Region Apprentices Recruitment 2026?
- A total of 140 vacancies have been announced. This includes 35 Graduate, 35 Diploma, and 70 ITI apprentice positions.
- Graduate apprentices will receive ₹15,000/- per month. Diploma apprentices will receive ₹12,000/- per month. ITI apprentices will receive ₹9,600/- per month for the 1st year and ₹10,560/- per month for the 2nd year of training.
