About Indo-Russian Rifle Private Limited (IRRPL)

Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited (IRRPL) is an assault rifle manufacturing facility located in Korwa, Amethi district, Uttar Pradesh, India. This Joint Venture was incorporated in 2019 under an Inter-Governmental Agreement for manufacturing AK-203 assault rifles for the Indian Armed Forces. The company has a paid-up capital of Rs. 100 Crore. The shareholding pattern is as follows: Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (42.5% stake), Troop Comforts Limited (8% stake), Concern Kalashnikov (42% stake), and Rosoboronexport (7.5% stake). Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

• Engineering Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline.

Essential Experience:

• Should have worked for at least 5 years as the Chief Executive Officer in manufacturing companies/equivalent higher position in the Indian Armed Forces.

Desirable Experience:

• 25 years of professional experience in manufacturing/handling of weapon systems.

Age Limit (as on date of issue of advertisement):

• Minimum Age: 54 years
• Maximum Age: 58 years

Employment Status:

• The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity (not contractual/ad-hoc) in one of the following:
  • Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services
  • Defence/Central Public Sector Enterprise
  • State Public Sector Enterprise where the annual turnover is ₹ 500 crores or more
  • Private Sector company where the annual turnover is ₹ 500 crores or more

Note: The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• The CEO/MD shall be the Chief Executive of the Company and will report to the Board of Directors.
• The CEO will be one of the Directors and shall be designated as Managing Director (MD).
• The CEO/MD shall function under the superintendence, control and directions of the board and in accordance with the Articles of Association of the company.
• The day to day management of the company will be carried out by the CEO/MD.

Duration of Appointment

• Central Government Officers (on Deputation): 3 years from the date of joining, extendable twice for 1 year each with Board approval up to maximum age of 60 years.
• Private Individuals/CPSE Officers/SPSE Officers/Central Government Officers (on immediate absorption basis): 5 years from date of joining or up to maximum age of 60 years, whichever is earlier.
