Educational Qualification
For Young Professional I (YP-I) - 03 Posts:
- Essential: B.Sc (Agriculture) OR B.Tech (Engineering) OR B.Sc in Life Sciences OR BCA from a recognized university/institute.
- Desirable: Knowledge and experience in Data management, field collection, in the diagnosis of insect pests and diseases.
- Essential: M.Sc (Agriculture) with specialization in Entomology OR Plant Pathology OR M.Sc in Life Sciences with specialization in Entomology from a recognized university/institute.
- Desirable: Knowledge and experience in Data management, field collection, in the diagnosis of insect pests and diseases.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age for Men: 35 years as on the date of interview.
- Maximum Age for Women: 40 years as on the date of interview.
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per GoI/ICAR rules:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
- Other eligible categories as per government rules

Important Instructions
- The engagement is purely on a contractual basis, time-bound, non-regular, and co-terminus with the project.
- The selected candidate shall have no claim for regular appointment under ICAR or any further contractual engagement.
- The tenure of engagement is initially for up to 12 months from the date of engagement or term of the project, whichever is earlier.
- Services will terminate automatically on expiry of the period mentioned in the offer letter.
- Extension may be granted subject to project extension and satisfactory performance.
- Termination can be done with one-month notice if performance is unsatisfactory.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email only.
- No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
- Original documents will be verified before the offer letter is issued.
- Candidates currently employed must furnish NOC from the existing employer.
- Candidates pursuing PhD must furnish NOC from HoD/Dean/Registrar.
- Concealing facts or canvassing will lead to disqualification.
