Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. or M.Tech (including Integrated M.Tech 4+2) in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Plant Biochemistry / Life Sciences / Food Science or relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Note: NET/GATE is NOT mandatory for this post.
- Experience in food biochemistry.
- Experience in extrusion/functional analysis.
- Knowledge of biochemical techniques.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 35 years for Project Associate-I as on the date of interview.
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India rules:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Women Candidates: 5 years

Important Instructions
- The post is purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year or project duration whichever is earlier.
- The engagement may be extended on a yearly basis after satisfactory performance until the termination of the project.
- There is no provision for re-engagement after the termination of the scheme.
- The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this institute as the fellowship is co-terminus with the respective scheme.
