Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Home Science/Community Science with specialization in Food and Nutrition discipline having at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point.
- NET Qualification: National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR-ASRB, UGC, CSIR or SET/SLET qualified. OR Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied subject in accordance with UGC and ICAR guidelines.
- Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience.
- Age Limit: Maximum 70 years as per UGC guidelines No. F.25-1/2018(PS/Misc) dated 28-01-2019.

Honorarium & Benefits
- Honorarium: ₹1,500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of ₹50,000/- per month.

- TA/DA: Guest Faculty will be entitled to TA/DA while on official tour as per the entitlement of Assistant Professor.
- Engagement Period: Initial empanelment will be for 12 months, which can be extended on an annual basis based on satisfactory performance.
- Note: The engagement will not constitute a regular job or appointment of any nature in ICAR.

Important Instructions
- Initial empanelment will be for 12 months, which can be extended on an annual basis based on satisfactory performance.

- Candidates who are already employed in private organizations etc. should produce "No Objection Certificate" from the present employer.
- No T.A./D.A. will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- Interested candidates who have sent their application to the above cited email may appear for the Interview, along with a typed application for the position applied for, detailed bio-data affixed with a recent passport-size photograph, and self-attested photocopies of certificates in support of age, qualifications, experience, testimonials, and other credentials.
- Candidates must also bring all the original experience/testimonials in support of age, qualifications, experiences, etc.
- Canvassing in any form will liable to disqualify the candidature. The Director's decision will be final and binding in all respects.
- The engagement will not constitute a regular job or appointment of any nature in the ICAR.
- During the term of empanelment, the guest faculty shall comply with the Standards of Conduct. Failure to comply with the same will become a ground for termination without notice.
- The Guest Faculty will be hired in compliance of UGC guidelines No. F.25-1/2018(PS/Misc) dated 28-01-2019.
- Institute reserves the right for any changes due to typographical error and IARI will follow policy and amendments as per ICAR.
- Reporting time is strictly from 09:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Late arrivals may not be entertained.
