IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has released the detailed notification for CRP RRBs XV for recruitment to Group "A" Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group "B" Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks across India. A total of 13,706 vacancies have been announced. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online from 01 September 2026 to 21 September 2026. The recruitment process includes online examinations and interviews for Officer posts.

About Organization

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous organization that conducts recruitment and selection examinations for personnel in participating banks and financial institutions. Through the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks, IBPS coordinates the selection of Officers and Office Assistants for participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). The CRP RRBs XV process covers RRBs across multiple States and Union Territories and includes online examinations, common interviews for Officer posts and provisional allotment based on merit, preferences and vacancies reported by the participating RRBs.

Eligibility
  • Candidates must satisfy the prescribed nationality, age, educational qualification and experience requirements applicable to the post.
  • Candidates must possess the required qualification on or before 21 September 2026 wherever prescribed.
  • Candidates applying for Office Assistants and Officers must meet the applicable local language requirements of the participating RRB.
  • A candidate can apply for Office Assistants (Multipurpose) and may also apply for one Officer post.
  • Only one application is permitted in the Officers' cadre: Scale-I, Scale-II or Scale-III.

Educational Qualification
  • Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Proficiency in the local language prescribed by the participating RRB is required. Working knowledge of Computer is desirable.
  • Officer Scale-I: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Preference is given to candidates having degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy. Proficiency in the prescribed local language is required and working knowledge of Computer is desirable.
  • Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Officer Scale-II IT Officer: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
  • Officer Scale-II Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
  • Officer Scale-II Law Officer: Degree in Law or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
  • Officer Scale-II Treasury Manager: Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance.
  • Officer Scale-II Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing.
  • Officer Scale-II Agricultural Officer: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering or Pisciculture with minimum 50% marks.

  • SC / ST: 5 years.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years.
  • PwBD: 10 years.
  • Ex-Servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen / DESM: As per applicable Government rules and post-specific provisions.
  • Eligible widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands: Relaxation applicable to Office Assistants as prescribed in the notification.

  • Officer Scale-I, II & III: Rs.175/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and Rs.850/- for all other candidates.
  • Office Assistants: Rs.175/- for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates and Rs.850/- for all other candidates.
  • Application fee/intimation charges are payable online only.
  • Bank transaction charges for online payment are to be borne by the candidate.

Salary & Benefits
  • Selected candidates will receive salary and allowances according to the applicable pay structure and service rules of the participating Regional Rural Banks.
  • The remuneration will include applicable basic pay, allowances and other benefits as admissible under the RRB service rules.

Selection Process
  • Office Assistants: Preliminary Examination → Main Examination → Provisional Allotment.
  • Officer Scale-I: Preliminary Examination → Main Examination → Common Interview → Provisional Allotment.
  • Officer Scale-II & III: Single Online Examination → Common Interview → Provisional Allotment.
  • For Officer posts, the interview carries 100 marks and the relative weightage of Online Examination and Interview is 80:20.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40%, with 35% applicable to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
