Educational Qualification
- ITI Apprentice: ITI (First Division) in Fitter, Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Machinist, Carpenter with 10th First Division.
- Diploma Apprentice: Diploma (First Division) in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Computer Science with 10th & Diploma First Division.
- Graduate Apprentice: Regular Graduation degree (First Division) in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer Science OR B.A./B.Com OR B.E./B.Tech (First Division) in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Communication Engineering, VLSI, Chemical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026.
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2022 are not eligible.
- Only regular candidates (full-time) who have completed the qualifying examination are eligible. Correspondence or distance learning degrees are not eligible.
Age Limit
- Age limit will be followed as per the Apprenticeship Rules and guidelines of the Government of India.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per government norms.
Application Fee

Salary & Stipend
- Selected candidates will receive a stipend as per the rules of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and amendments thereof.

- No Government quarters/hostel accommodation/transport will be provided to the apprentices by the establishment during the training period.
Selection Process
- Screening of Applications: Applications received by post will be screened based on eligibility criteria and academic merit.
- Merit List: A provisional merit list of selected candidates will be prepared based on the academic performance.
- Verification of Credentials: Verification of credentials will be done for selected candidates prior to creation of contract. In case of any deviation or non-conformity with the desired qualification, candidature shall be summarily rejected.
- Contract Execution: Selected candidates must execute a Contract for 12 months of training as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- All correspondence including the offer letter (if selected) will be done through E-mail only.

Important Instructions
- All correspondence including the offer letter (if selected) shall be done through E-mail only.
- The period of training will be 12 months commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
- Selected candidates have to submit the "Police Verification Certificate" after joining.
- It shall not be obligatory on the part of SSPL to offer any employment to any apprentice after completion of the training period.
- Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.
- SSPL reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of seats for apprenticeship training.
- Any canvassing or personal follow-up with an intention of influencing the selection process shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
- SSPL reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement/selection process without assigning any reason.
- In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction shall be that of the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi.
- The apprentices will not be provided any Government quarters/hostel accommodation/transport during the training period.
- For Diploma and Graduate candidates, registration on https://nats.education.gov.in is mandatory. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.
- For ITI candidates, registration on https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in is mandatory. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.
