Eligibility Criteria

• For Undergraduate Students: Pursuing Graduate Engineering (Final Year - VII/VIII Semester) in the respective discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
• For Postgraduate Students: Pursuing Postgraduate Engineering or Physical Science (Final Year) in the respective discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
• Academic Performance: Candidates should have a good academic track record with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the pursuing Graduate Engineering/Postgraduate (Engineering/Physical Science) from AICTE/UGC approved Universities.
• Age Limit: Below 28 Years as on the date of application.
• Request Letter: The Principal/Director of the Institution must provide a request letter for highly deserving meritorious students only.

Stipend & Benefits

• Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000/- Per Month for the duration of 06 months.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting: Eligible candidates may be shortlisted on the basis of Interaction/Interview and on the basis of percentage marks. CGPA to be converted to Percentage (average of completed semesters/years).
• Walk-in-Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a walk-in-interview. The interview date will be intimated after shortlisting via Phone and on the DRDO website.

Important Instructions

• The duration of internship/project work training will be for a period of 06 months. Completion Certificate will be issued only after completing 06 months from the date of joining.
• Stipend of ₹5,000/- per month is only applicable if the student has good performance and completes a minimum of 15 working days per month of physical attendance at DRDL/ASL/CAS.
• Payment will be made in two installments. The first installment will be paid after 03 months of internship. No payment will be made if a student does not complete a tenure of minimum 03 months.
• DRDL/ASL/CAS shall have no obligation to offer employment to such interns nor can an intern claim a right for employment on the grounds of completion of this Internship.
• The laboratory will not be responsible for any injuries sustained during the internship period.
• If the student is unable to complete the internship and leaves in between the program, the completion certificate will not be issued and no payment will be made for incomplete tenure.
• Selection will be based entirely on merit basis. No communication will be undertaken for rejected candidates.
• The management reserves the right to change the vacancy positions or selection criteria at any point during the selection process without assigning any reason whatsoever.
• Candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay and transport in Hyderabad.
