Eligibility Criteria for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi Teaching Faculty Recruitment
Professor:
- An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Total research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level.
- Evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.
- OR An outstanding professional with Ph.D. degree and ten years' experience with significant contribution to knowledge.
- A good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
- Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research equivalent to that of Assistant Professor.
- Minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Total research score of Seventy five (75) as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC (SLET/SET) OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016.
- Ph.D. degree from a foreign university with ranking among top 500 (at any time) in QS, THE, or ARWU (Shanghai) is also acceptable.
- For School of Education Studies (ITEP): Post-Graduate degree in the concerned subject with 55% marks + B.Ed. degree with 55% marks + NET/SLET/Ph.D.

- Out of the total 89 posts, 02 posts are horizontally reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) under various categories as per DoPT OM No. 36035/02/2017-Estt (Res) dated 15.01.2018.
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwBD/EWS candidates will be as per UGC/Government of NCT of Delhi policies.
- OBC candidates must possess a valid OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi for the current financial year (2026-2027).
