Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination passed from a recognized board OR old Higher Secondary examination passed for all posts.

Additional Qualification (For Driver & Driver Cum Operator):

• Must possess a Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License.

Selection Process

• Stage 1 - Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Already conducted by the department. Only PET qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the written exam.
• Stage 2 - Online Application: PET qualified candidates must register and submit the online application on CGSSB website.
• Stage 3 - Written Exam: 100 marks objective type test (2 hours duration).
• Stage 4 - Trade Test: For Driver/Driver Cum Operator posts - 100 marks.
• Stage 5 - Bonus Marks: Maximum 10 bonus marks for special qualifications.
• Final Selection: Based on Physical Efficiency Test marks + Written Exam marks + Bonus Marks.

Important Instructions

• The applicant must be a local resident of Chhattisgarh state.
• OBC candidates will get reservation benefit only if they are non-creamy layer.
• Candidates must have an income certificate issued within the last 3 years before the application date.
• Government employees' son/daughter must submit verified copies of their parents' first appointment and promotion orders at the time of document verification.
• Candidates who are physically eligible only (PET qualified) can apply. Others should not apply.
• After successful submission of the application, download the printout and keep it with you.
