NEIGRIHMS Data Entry Operator Recruitment 2026 Notification Out | Walk-in Interview for 1 DEO Post @ neigrihms.gov.in
NEIGRIHMS (North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences), Shillong, has released an official advertisement for the recruitment of a Data Entry Operator on a purely contractual basis. This recruitment is under the Central Sector Scheme entitled "Setting up of Nation-Wide Network of Laboratories for Managing Epidemics and National Calamities" under the State Level VRDL funded by DHR, Government of India, New Delhi. The engagement is for the Department of Microbiology, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong.
Eligible Indian nationals possessing a Graduate degree with knowledge of data entry work are invited to attend a Walk-in Interview. Candidates with prior working experience in an ICMR Project and good knowledge of computer application or business intelligence tools/data management will be preferred. The selected candidate will be appointed on a purely temporary contractual basis up to 31st March 2027. Interested candidates are advised to check their eligibility criteria before appearing for the Walk-in Interview scheduled on 17th July 2026.

Educational Qualification

- Remuneration: ₹ 20,000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Duration: Upto 31st March 2027 (Purely Contractual Basis)
Selection Process
- Stage 1: Verification of Original Documents
- Stage 2: Skill Test – Only candidates who qualify the skill test will be allowed to attend the interview.
- Stage 3: Walk-in Interview – Conducted on the same day for skill test qualified candidates.

How to Apply (Walk-in Interview)
- Interested and eligible candidates may attend the Skill-test & Walk-in Interview on 17 July 2026 at 9:30 AM.
- Venue: Seminar Room, Department of Microbiology, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong.
- No candidates will be permitted to attend the interview after the assigned time.
- Bring one (1) attested photocopy of all essential documents of educational qualification & experience along with Biodata.
- Bring all original certificates of educational qualifications, copies of experience certificate, identity proof along with two photographs.
- Currently employed candidates must bring a "No Objection Certificate" from the current employer.

Important Instructions
- The appointment will be purely on a contractual basis. The candidate has no right to claim regular appointment.
- Selected candidates will not be eligible for any benefits of permanent employees.
