Eligibility Criteria
- Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment
Age Limit
- Age Range: 18 to 40 years
- Born Between: 02 January 1986 and 01 January 2008 (both dates included)
- SC/ST and OBC candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation as per Government of Kerala rules.
- Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- SSLC or its equivalent.
- Higher Grade Certificate in Typewriting (English) (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent.
- Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting (Malayalam) (KGTE) or its equivalent.
- Typewriting Certificate issued by the Government alone will be accepted as proof of Typewriting qualification. Certificate issued from Typewriting Institute will not be considered.
- List of qualifications accepted so far as equivalent to KGTE Computer Word Processing is available in 'Qualifications' link of the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission.
- Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
- In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post.
- Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
- In case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non-Creamy Layer Certificate / Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification.
Reservation for Differently Abled Candidates
- 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with specified percentage of disability vide GO(P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01 October 2023.
- Present Order for Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 Section 34.
Common Ranked List - Important Information
- A common ranked list will be published for all the Universities.
- Candidates need to send only one application.
- Candidates will be advised for recruitment to each University according to the order in which vacancies are reported from each University and in accordance with the ranks secured by them subject to the rules of reservation and rotation in force.
- Once advised, his/her turn will be over and he/she will have no further claim for being considered for appointment from the ranked list to another University.
- A candidate appointed in a University and relieved for want of vacancy can register his/her name in the office of Kerala Public Service Commission.
- In such case, he/she will be advised for appointment against the next vacancy reported from any of the above mentioned University.
- His/her service in the former University will be counted for probation in the latter University.
- For reappointment in the present University itself, no registration is necessary but one has to wait till vacancy arises in that University.
- Candidates will have no right to claim initial appointment to any particular University.
Probation
- The candidates selected to the post shall be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
Ranked List Validity
- The Ranked List published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years.
- The list shall continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years, whichever is earlier.
- Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission during the currency of the list.

- Register under the "One Time Registration" scheme if not already registered.
- Already registered candidates can log in using their User ID and Password.
- Click on the "Apply Now" button against the respective notification.

- No application fee is required to be paid.
- Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.
- Candidates should keep their User ID and Password confidential.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates who receive a profile message at any stage directing them to upload documents to prove their qualifications should do so within the stipulated time; otherwise, they will not be considered for the next stage.
