Eligibility Criteria
- Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment
Age Limit
- Age Range: 18 to 40 years
- Born Between: 02 January 1986 and 01 January 2008 (both dates included)
- OBC and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation as per Government of Kerala rules.
- Provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in, subject to a maximum of five years from the upper age limit.
- Condition: They were within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern.
- They must have completed a minimum of one year of provisional service.
- Regular employees of the concern are not eligible for this concession for further appointment.
- Provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service and produce the same when required by the Commission.
- The certificate should clearly specify that they were not working in the regular service of the concern.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Three years experience in the Engineering Unit of a firm registered under The Companies Act 1956 in tool room with exposure in inventory control from Central or State Government service or in Public Sector Undertaking or Registered Private Sector Undertaking.
- Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
- In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post.
- The experience should be acquired after the acquisition of the basic academic qualifications and before the last date for submitting the application for this post.
- The experience certificate should be in the prescribed format. Candidates must upload the experience certificate at the time of submission of the application itself. Otherwise, the application will be rejected.
Experience Certificate Format
The experience certificate to be produced in proof of experience shall be in the following format:

- This is to certify that the above mentioned person has worked/has been working in the tool room of the Engineering Unit of this Institution as (here enter the name of the post held) and has experience in tool room with exposure in inventory control on Rs. _____ per day/per mensem for a period of _____ years _____ months _____ days from _____ to _____ (DD/MM/YYYY format) on a permanent/temporary/apprentice/trainee/daily wage basis.
- Certified that Sri/Smt. mentioned in the above Experience Certificate has actually worked/is working as (Specify the nature of employment) in the above Institution during the period mentioned therein as per the entry in the register (mention name of register) maintained by the employer as per the provision of Act (Name of the Act/Rules to be specified).

Cancellation of Advice for Appointment
- The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake.
- On such cancellation, the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate.
- The cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty, whichever is earlier.
Probation
- The probation period is applicable as per the provision of the rules of Oil Palm India Ltd.
Ranked List Validity
- The Ranked List prepared by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years.
- The list will cease to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published.
- Candidates will be advised against the vacancies shown above and also against all vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of the Ranked List.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates who receive a profile message at any stage directing them to upload documents to prove their qualifications should do so within the stipulated time; otherwise, they will not be considered for the next stage.
