Armament Research & Development Establishment (ARDE), a premier laboratory of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, invites applications from eligible Undergraduate and Postgraduate Engineering students for the Paid Internship Scheme 2026-27. The internship will be for a period of 06 months and provides students an opportunity to work on advanced armament systems, defence technologies, research, design, development, testing and evaluation projects under the guidance of DRDO scientists.

Eligibility Criteria
For BE / B.Tech Students:
- Regular students pursuing BE/B.Tech in 7th or 8th Semester.
- Must be studying in the relevant discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
- Regular students pursuing M.Tech in 1st or 2nd Year.
- Must be studying in the relevant discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
- Minimum 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA on a scale of 10.
- Minimum CGPA of 7.5 or above maintained throughout previous semesters.
- Only students from AICTE-approved institutions or UGC-recognized Universities are eligible.
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Below 28 years as on 20 June 2026.
Internship Duration & Stipend
- Internship Duration: 06 Months
- Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000/-
- Total Stipend: ₹30,000/-
- ₹15,000 after successful completion of first 03 months.
- ₹15,000 after successful completion of final 03 months.
- Payment will be credited directly to the student's bank account.
- Students must complete a minimum of 15 working days per month to be eligible for stipend payment.
Selection Process
- Screening of Applications.
- Shortlisting based on Academic Merit.
- Verification of Educational Credentials.
- Assessment of CGPA and Eligibility Criteria.
- Final Selection by ARDE/DRDO Authorities.
- Selected students will be informed through Email.

Documents Required
- Duly filled Application Form (Appendix-A) with recent passport-size photograph.
- Request Letter / No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Principal/Director (Appendix-B).
- Duly filled Undertaking Form (Appendix-C).
- Copies of all semester marksheets.
- Bonafide Certificate issued by the College.
- Character Certificate issued by the College.
- Copy of Aadhaar Card.
- Copy of College Identity Card.
- Student Biodata (Maximum 300 words).
- Awards / Certificates, if any.
Terms & Conditions
- Applications must be submitted only through Speed Post / Courier / Registered Post.
- Students with backlogs are not eligible.
- Students receiving any other stipend from any institution are not eligible.
- Police Verification Certificate must be submitted at the time of joining.
- Medical Fitness Certificate from an authorized MBBS/BAMS practitioner is mandatory at joining.
- No boarding, lodging or transportation allowance will be provided.
- Students can use ARDE canteen facilities on a payment basis.
- Internship Completion Certificate will be issued only after successful completion of the internship and submission of project report.
- ARDE/DRDO has no obligation to offer employment after completion of internship.
- Management reserves the right to modify vacancies or selection criteria without assigning any reason.

- Obtain recommendation letter/NOC from the Principal or Director of the Institute.
- Attach all required documents.
- Send the completed application through Speed Post, Courier or Registered Post only.
