Electronics & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), a premier laboratory of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, invites applications from eligible final year BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech and M.Sc students for the Paid Internship Scheme 2026-27. The internship will be for a period of 06 months and provides students an opportunity to work on advanced Radar and Defence Technologies under the guidance of DRDO Scientists.

Electronics & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), Bengaluru, is one of the premier DRDO laboratories engaged in the design, development and evaluation of Radar Systems and related Defence Technologies for the Armed Forces of India. LRDE contributes significantly to indigenous defence technology development in areas such as Radar Engineering, Signal Processing, Antenna Systems, Embedded Systems, AI and Power Electronics.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Must have completed or appeared in Third Year / 6th Semester examinations.
- Must have secured at least 70% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate up to 6th Semester.
- Must have completed or appeared in First Year / 2nd Semester examinations.
- Must have secured at least 70% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate.
Internship Period & Stipend
- Internship Duration: 06 Months
- Students must attend office for at least 15 days every month.
- Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000/-
- Total Stipend: ₹30,000/-
- ₹15,000 after successful completion of first 03 months.
- ₹15,000 after successful completion of 06 months based on technical evaluation.
- Payment will be made directly to the student's bank account.

Selection Process
- Screening of Applications.
- Shortlisting by LRDE.
- Verification of Academic Credentials.
- Assessment of Area of Interest and Project Relevance.
- Final Selection by LRDE Scientists and Authorities.
Terms & Conditions
- Applications must be submitted only through the respective college/institute.
- Direct applications from students will not be accepted.
- Police Verification Certificate is mandatory at the time of joining.
- Students must report on the prescribed joining date.
- No hostel accommodation, transport or transport allowance will be provided.
- LRDE reserves the right to increase or decrease internship positions.
- LRDE may modify, suspend or cancel the selection process without assigning any reason.
- Internship certificate will be issued only after successful completion of the required duration.
