North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong, an Autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to various Group ‘A’ Faculty Posts. The posts will be filled through Direct Recruitment, failing which by Deputation/Absorption basis. Pay Scale & Age Limit
Professor
- Pay Level-14A
- Entry Pay: ₹1,59,100 + NPA
- Maximum Age: 58 Years
- Pay Level-13A1
- Entry Pay: ₹1,31,400 + NPA
- Maximum Age: 50 Years
- Pay Level-12
- Entry Pay: ₹1,01,500 + NPA
- Other allowances as admissible under Government of India Rules.
- NPA applicable for medically qualified faculty only.
Educational Qualification
- Medical qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- MD/MS/DM/M.Ch. or equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty.
- Registration with Central/State Medical Council is mandatory.
- Teaching and research experience as prescribed for the respective post.
- DNB candidates must submit documentary proof of equivalence as per NMC guidelines.
- Eligible Non-Medical candidates may apply for Biochemistry and Microbiology departments as per NMC norms.
