The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare invites applications from eligible officers for recruitment to the post of Financial Adviser in the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong on deputation basis. The selected officer will be placed in Pay Level-13 of the Pay Matrix and will be governed by the terms and conditions prescribed by the Government of India. Applications must reach the Institute on or before 20 July 2026.

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong is a premier medical institution established by the Government of India on the lines of AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. The institute is a super-specialty teaching hospital providing advanced healthcare services to the people of North Eastern India. It has a 610-bed hospital and conducts various DM, MD/MS, MBBS, M.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Nursing programmes.

Eligibility Criteria
Deputation:
Officers from any of the Central/State Government Organized Finance/Accounts Services, Subordinate Finance/Accounts Services, or Finance/Accounts Departments of Central Statutory Bodies, Autonomous Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings:
- Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
- Having 05 years of regular service in Level-12 of the Pay Matrix or equivalent; OR
- Having 10 years of regular service in Level-11 of the Pay Matrix or equivalent.
Age Limit
- Maximum age shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Selection Process
- Scrutiny of Applications.
- Verification of Eligibility Conditions.
- Assessment of APARs/ACRs.

- Selection on Deputation Basis.
Terms & Conditions
- The appointment is on deputation basis.
- Initial deputation period will be 01 year.
- The deputation period may be extended up to a maximum of 05 years based on performance review.
- Pay and service conditions will be governed by DoPT O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 17 June 2010 and subsequent amendments.
- Applications received after the due date will not be considered.
- Incomplete applications or applications without required documents will be rejected.

- Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
- Integrity Certificate.
- Certificate confirming that no major or minor penalty has been imposed during the last 10 years.
