The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Deoghar — an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India — has invited applications for 11 Non-Faculty posts on purely contract basis for 11 months (extendable yearly based on performance) or till the vacancies are filled on regular basis. Posts include Blood Transfusion Officer, Senior Programmer, Public Relation Officer, Law Officer, Security Officer, Biomedical Engineer and more, with consolidated salary up to Rs.1,08,320/- per month. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Deoghar is one of the apex healthcare institutes established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). Total Posts: 11 (All Unreserved/UR) — purely on contract basis for 11 months, extendable yearly based on performance, or till regular appointment.
- 1. Blood Transfusion Officer: 01 Post | Age: 21–40 years
- 2. Senior Programmer: 01 Post | Age: Not exceeding 50 years
- 3. Public Relation Officer: 01 Post | Age: 30–45 years
- 4. Assistant Blood Transfusion Officer: 01 Post | Age: 18–30 years
- 5. Law Officer: 01 Post | Age: 30–45 years
- 6. Security Officer: 01 Post | Age: 18–35 years
- 7. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 01 Post | Age: Not exceeding 35 years
- 8. Sanitation Officer: 01 Post | Age: Not more than 50 years
- 9. Biomedical Engineer: 01 Post | Age: 21–35 years
- 10. Laundry Manager: 01 Post | Age: Up to 50 years
- 11. Perfusionist: 01 Post | Age: 18–30 years (relaxable up to 40 years for AIIMS employees)

Eligibility Criteria (Post-wise Qualification & Experience)
1. Blood Transfusion Officer:
- A recognized medical qualification included in I or II Schedule or Part II of the 3rd Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, with 5 years' experience in Blood Bank with component separator, OR
- M.D. in Blood Transfusion Medicine with 1 year experience in Blood Bank with component separator during the PG course
- BE/B.Tech/MCA/B.Sc with Diploma in Computer Application + 10 years' experience in IT Systems/Networking/Hardware Configuration/Software Programming in Ministries/Departments of GoI/State Government/UTs/Statutory/Autonomous Bodies
- Degree from a recognized University/Institution with Post-Graduation/Diploma in Public Relations/Corporate Communication/Journalism/Mass Communication, with 10 years' experience in the relevant field
- A recognized medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
- 2 years' experience in Blood Bank work after registration as a Medical graduate
- Must be registered with a State Medical Council
- Degree in Law or equivalent
- Qualified legal practitioner with minimum 6 years' experience
- Degree from a recognized University/equivalent
- Officers of Police Departments of Central/State/UT Governments or Armed Forces including Para Military Forces, holding analogous posts or with 2/3 years regular service in PB-2 GP 4800/GP 4600 or above — preferably with experience in security and handling agitations/strikes of employees
- Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with 5 years' experience in design and engineering of civil projects, preferably in a hospital environment
- Pass in Class 12 + Health Sanitary Inspector Course (1 year duration) from a recognized University/Institution
- 10 years of experience in sanitation, preferably in a 200-bedded hospital
- B.E/B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized Institution/University, OR
- Diploma in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized Institution with 2 years' experience in the relevant field
- 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/School
- Diploma/Certificate in Dry Cleaning/Laundry Technology from a recognized Institute
- 12 years' experience in a reputed mechanized Laundry
- B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University
- Certificate in Perfusion Technology (awarded by a recognized Institution/Association/Authority such as Association of Thoracic and Cardio Vascular Surgeons of India) after training in a Centre, with at least 1 year experience in Clinical Perfusion
- Desirable: Working experience in Clinical Perfusion

Selection Process
- Selection will be through Walk-in-Interview of shortlisted candidates (with document verification)
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview and document verification
- The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection
- The decision of the competent authority regarding selection will be final
Instructions for Government Employees
- Candidates working in Central/State Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must submit NOC from their respective organization along with the application
- Candidates already in government service shall submit NOC from the present employer at the time of interview
Important Instructions
- The appointment is purely on contract basis for 11 months or till regular appointments are made, whichever is earlier — it cannot be regularized at any stage
- The appointment can be terminated on either side by one month's notice or one month's salary in lieu of notice
- The appointee shall be on whole-time appointment of AIIMS and shall not accept any other assignment or private practice during the contract
- Age relaxation for Government servants, SC, ST and OBC as per Government of India decisions from time to time
- The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification
