ACTREC (Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer), Tata Memorial Centre has released the official notification for the recruitment of Non-Medical posts for the year 2026. The centre invites applications from Indian Citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holders, and foreign nationals for a total of 08 vacancies including Medical Physicist 'E', Scientific Officer 'D', and Scientific Assistant 'B' positions.

Educational Qualifications & Experience
1. Medical Physicist 'E' (3-UR)
- M.Sc. (Physics) and Diploma in Radiological Physics conducted by BARC or Equivalent AERB approved qualifications
- Certification of Radiological Safety Officer from AERB
- 12 years' experience in advanced computerized treatment planning systems and other state-of-the-art technology
- Desirable: Computer programming skills in C++, MATLAB, Python etc.
- Ph.D. in Life Sciences or Health Sciences
- Minimum 01 year of experience in preclinical disease model development, including patient-derived xenografts, designing and executing mechanistic in vitro and in vivo studies; clinical sample collection, processing, biobanking and clinical trial conduct in a reputed institution
- Desirable: Clinical trial initiation, implementation, patient recruitment, informed consent, and ethics committee submission
- B.Sc. with 50% marks and one year certificate/Diploma course in ICU/OT Techniques/Respiratory therapy Techniques/Dialysis Techniques
- OR Bachelor degree in Paramedical Technology - OT Techniques / Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy / Equivalent with minimum 50% marks
- Desirable: One year work experience in ICU/OT Technician; Experience in dialysis
- B.Sc. in Biological Sciences including Biotechnology with 50% marks and Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent from a Government recognized Institute with minimum one year working experience in busy Haemato-pathology Laboratory
- OR B.Sc. (MLT) with 50% marks and two years experience in busy Haemato-pathology Laboratory
- Preference: Additional qualifications with M.Sc. and experience in flow Cytometry
- B.Sc. (Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Applied Biology/Biology/Biotechnology) with 50% marks and Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a Government recognized Institute
- OR B.Sc. (MLT) from a Government recognized Institute/University
- Essential Experience: For B.Sc. + Degree/Diploma in MLT: Minimum 01 year working experience in Pathology Laboratory; For B.Sc. (MLT): Minimum 02 years' working experience in Pathology Laboratory
- Desirable: Basic computer skills and good working knowledge of English
- B.Sc. (Radiological Imaging Technology) from a recognized University with 50% marks
- OR B.Sc. in any subject / B. Pharmacy with 50% marks and minimum two years' Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology from State Board of Technical Education or any equivalent recognized Board/University
- Minimum 01 year Internship/experience from a large hospital with experience in CT and MRI
Age Limit & Relaxation
Upper Age Limit (as on 07 August 2026):
- Medical Physicist 'E': 45 Years
- Scientific Officer 'D': 40 Years
- Scientific Assistant 'B' (All Posts): 30 Years
- SC/ST: 05 Years
- OBC: 03 Years
- PwD: 10 Years (additional 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC)
- Ex-Servicemen: Length of service in Armed forces plus 3 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC)
- TMC Employees: Maximum 5 years relaxation
- Note: If the post is only for unreserved category, age relaxation will not be applicable to reserved candidates
Pay Scale
- Medical Physicist 'E': Level 12, Initial Pay ₹ 78,800/- + Allowances
- Scientific Officer 'D': Level 11, Initial Pay ₹ 67,700/- + Allowances
- Scientific Assistant 'B' (All Posts): Level 6, Initial Pay ₹ 35,400/- + Allowances

Selection Process
- Screening of applications based on eligibility criteria and qualifications

- For Post No. 3, 4, 5 & 6: Written Examination (100 Marks, MCQ) & Interview
- Written Examination questions will be based on the respective area of specialization/expertise
- The mode of selection may vary based on number of candidates shortlisted/appearing
- Final selection will be based on performance in Written Examination and/or Interview

Important Instructions
- Candidates are required to have a valid email ID and mobile number which should be kept active throughout the recruitment process.
- Submit the online application much before the closing date to avoid disconnection/inability due to heavy load on the website.
- Incomplete & Online Non-Submitted applications will be summarily rejected.
- Candidates called for Written Examination/Interview must carry original documents along with one set of photocopies, failing which they will not be allowed to appear.
- Persons working under Central/State Government/Autonomous Body/Semi Government Organisations must obtain permission from their Head of Organisation to apply and produce NOC at the time of Written Examination/Interview.

- Age & experience will be reckoned as on 07 August 2026. Experience will be reckoned post required qualifications.
- Candidates appointed will be rotated in any Units of TMC (Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai; ACTREC, Navi Mumbai; Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Sangrur; Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Mullanpur; Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Vizag; Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre, Varanasi; Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Varanasi; BBCI, Guwahati; Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Muzaffarpur) as per requirements.
- Selected candidates shall serve the respective location for minimum of 5 years before any request for transfer. TMC management reserves the right to transfer any staff member.
- TMC-ACTREC may exercise the option to offer appointments on "Contract Basis" for a fixed term on a consolidated remuneration.
- Legal jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Mumbai.
