Educational Qualification
Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT)
- Three-Year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institution.
- General / OBC (NCL) / EWS candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks.
- SC / PwBD candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Engineering Assistant Trainees will undergo six months of training before regular absorption.
- SSLC + ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized Institution.
- One-Year Apprenticeship Training with National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade OR SSLC + Three-Year National Apprenticeship Certificate Course in the relevant trade.
- General / OBC (NCL) / EWS candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks.
- SC / PwBD candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks.
Experience
- No prior work experience is required for either post.
Tamil Nadu Employment Exchange Registration
- Valid and active registration in any Tamil Nadu Employment Exchange is mandatory.
- The registration must remain valid as on 08 July 2026.
- Expired or inactive Employment Exchange Registration Cards will not be accepted.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 28 years as on 01 June 2026.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.
