Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification:
- Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty (preferred)
- MBBS only candidates may be considered if PG candidates are not available
- For Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology: MSc (Medical) in the concerned subject is also acceptable
- For Dentistry departments: MDS Degree in the concerned specialty is required
- Maximum 40 years for PG Degree / Post-doctoral holders
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government of India norms
Salary & Benefits
- PG Degree/Diploma holders: Pay Matrix Level 11 – Rs.67,700 to Rs.2,08,700/-
- MBBS only candidates: Pay Matrix Level 10 – Rs.56,100 to Rs.1,77,500/-
- Non-Medical qualification holders: Pay Matrix Level 7 – Rs.44,900 to Rs.1,42,400/-
- Additional allowances as admissible under CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016

- EWS Certificate, if applicable
- PwBD Disability Certificate (minimum 40% disability), if applicable
- No Objection Certificate from current employer, if applicable

- The tenure of Senior Residency is 3 years and cannot exceed this period in total including any previous senior residency in a Central Institution
- Candidates already working as Senior Resident/Demonstrator in a Central Institution must apply through proper channel only; previous pay will not be protected
