About NeGD
The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) functions under the Digital India Corporation and Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). NeGD supports the Government of India in programme management and implementation of various e-Governance projects and Digital India initiatives at both Central and State levels.
NeGD manages several flagship Digital India platforms including DigiLocker, UMANG, Poshan Tracker, OpenForge Platform, API Setu, National Academic Depository, Academic Bank of Credits, and Learning Management System. Tech Lead
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Desirable: M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Full Stack Development experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
Required Skills & Experience
Tech Lead
- 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, React, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in Microservices Architecture and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- ASP.NET Core, C#, .NET Framework, PHP
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, Popper.js
- MySQL, SQL Server, IIS, Apache HTTP Server
- CryptoJS, Raphael.js and OWASP Secure Coding Practices
- Desirable: React.js, Angular, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
