The Indian Army has released the official notification for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course (April 2027) for granting Short Service Commission (Non-Technical) to unmarried women, including wards of battle casualties of Army personnel. The Indian Army invites applications under the NCC Special Entry Scheme for Short Service Commission (Non-Technical) Women Officers. Selected candidates will undergo pre-commission training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai for 49 weeks and will be commissioned as Lieutenants after successful completion of training. Eligibility Criteria
- Only unmarried women candidates are eligible.
- Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or fulfil nationality conditions mentioned in the notification.
- Candidates applying through NCC Entry must possess valid NCC eligibility.
- Wards of Battle Casualties are eligible under the reserved vacancy.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
- Final year students may also apply provided they obtain the Graduation Degree before commencement of the course.
- Candidates must possess a valid NCC 'C' Certificate with minimum 'B' Grade.
- Minimum two or three years of service in NCC Senior Division/Wing as applicable.
- NCC 'C' Certificate is not mandatory for Wards of Battle Casualties.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 19 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- Age calculated as on 01 January 2027.
- Candidates should be born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive).

Salary & Training Stipend
- Training Stipend: ₹56,100 per month during OTA training.
- Rank after commissioning: Lieutenant.
- Lieutenant Pay Level: Level-10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500).
- Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500 per month.
- Approximate Annual CTC after Commissioning: ₹17–18 Lakhs (excluding medical cover and annual hometown travel).
- Other admissible allowances will be provided as per Government rules.

- Original certificates are mandatory. DigiLocker certificates will not be accepted in place of original documents except where specifically permitted with authentication from the institution.
