All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Madurai has invited applications from eligible Central/State Government officers for 7 non-faculty posts on deputation basis. Posts include Medical Superintendent, Superintending Engineer, Executive Engineer (Civil), Executive Engineer (Electrical), Nursing Superintendent, Assistant Controller of Examinations and Personal Assistant. Salary ranges from Rs.35,400/- to Rs.2,18,200/- depending on the post. Applications must be sent via Speed Post/Registered Post only. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Madurai is an apex healthcare institution established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). It is located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu and is mentored by JIPMER, Puducherry.
AIIMS Madurai was set up with the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training. It functions as an autonomous body established under an Act of Parliament.
This recruitment is specifically for non-faculty administrative and technical positions to be filled on deputation basis from Central/State Government/Autonomous Bodies/PSUs and other eligible organisations. Eligibility Criteria
Medical Superintendent:
- Medical qualification as per Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (Schedule I, II or Part II of Third Schedule)
- PG qualification – MD/MS or equivalent, OR MHA (Masters in Hospital Administration) or equivalent recognised by MCI
- 10 years experience in Hospital Administration in a senior position (Pay Level 13 and above) after PG degree, preferably in hospitals with 300+ beds
- Holding analogous post on regular basis, OR Executive Engineer (Civil) with 5 years service in GP Rs.7600 (Level 12), OR Executive Engineer (Civil) with 10 years service in GP Rs.6600 (Level 11)
- Must possess BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised university
- Holding analogous post on regular basis, OR Assistant Engineer (Civil) with 5 years service in GP Rs.5400 (Level 10), OR Junior Engineer (Civil) with 7 years service in GP Rs.4600 (Level 7)
- Must possess BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised university
- Holding analogous post on regular basis, OR Assistant Engineer (Electrical) with 5 years service in GP Rs.5400 (Level 10), OR Junior Engineer (Electrical) with 7 years service in GP Rs.4600 (Level 7)
- Must possess BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university

Salary & Benefits
- Pay as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix applicable to the respective level of the post
- All usual allowances admissible to Central Government employees of similar status
- Additional allowances sanctioned under AIIMS Madurai rules
- Deputation period shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years
- Deputation governed by DoPT O.M. No.6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17.06.2010 and subsequent amendments
