AAI NSCBI Airport Apprentices Recruitment 2026 Notification Out | Apply Online for 38 Graduate/Diploma/ITI Apprentice Posts
Airports Authority of India (AAI), NSCBI Airport, Kolkata has released the official notification for engagement of Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentices for the year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship program will be conducted at the Office of the Airport Director, AAI, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata.
AAI NSCBI Airport invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals having domicile of West Bengal for a one-year Apprenticeship Program. A total of 38 vacancies have been announced for Graduate, Diploma, and ITI apprentices across various engineering disciplines. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the respective apprenticeship portals (NATS/NAPS) before 24 August 2026.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentices: Full-time (Regular Course) 4-year Engineering Degree in the relevant/discipline stream recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
- Diploma Apprentices: Full-time (Regular Course) 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant/equivalent stream recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
- ITI Trade Apprentices: ITI/NCVT Certificate in the relevant/equivalent trade/specialization/subject provided by the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Government of India.
- Candidates must have passed Degree/Diploma/ITI in 2022 or after 2022.
Eligibility Criteria
- Indian Nationals having domicile of West Bengal are only eligible.
- Candidates must have passed Degree/Diploma/ITI in 2022 or after 2022.
- Minimum Age: 18 years (as on 24 August 2026)
- Maximum Age: 26 years (as on 24 August 2026)
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories as per Government of India guidelines is applicable.
- Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training/job experience for a period of 1 year or more after the attainment of essential qualifications shall not be eligible.
- Candidates who have completed their apprenticeship training or left it midway are not eligible.
- Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered.
Selection Process
- Numbers of vacancies for Graduate and Diploma Apprentices to be advertised through the BOPT/NATS website only.
- Numbers of vacancies for ITI Trade Apprentices to be advertised through the RDAT/NAPS website only.
- Nominations of candidates received from the office/website of BOPT/NATS and RDAT/NAPS only shall be considered for provisional selection.
- Provisional selection of candidates would be based on the percentage (%) of marks in the required educational qualification.
- The candidature of the applicant shall be provisional.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Document Verification through their registered email IDs only.
- Final selection will be based on Interview/verification of certificates and submission of Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
- Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices at the Office of the Airport Director, AAI, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata ONLY.

- Click on the "Apply" button on the next page.
- After successful application, the message "Successfully applied for the training position. Based on availability, you will be contacted by the establishment" will appear.
- Applications received in online mode through NATS/BOPT/NAPS portal will only be considered.
- Correspondence/Communication/Applications made through any other mode shall not be considered.
- No Application Fee is being charged.
Important Conditions
- The apprenticeship will be for a period of one year as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Candidates must register themselves with the concerned portal of NATS/BOPT for Graduate/Diploma Apprentices and NAPS portal for Trade/ITI Apprentices prior to applying.
- No TA/DA will be provided for document verification/interview/joining.
- The number of candidates to be engaged is indicative only which may undergo without any further notification.
- During the period of apprenticeship, candidates will be governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961, (Rules made thereunder and amended from time to time) and the policies/rules of AAI.
- Reservation for SC/ST, OBC and PwBD etc. as applicable will be followed.
- AAI has no obligation to give regular/contractual employment to Apprentices.
- The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full, etc.
- Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered and their application will be rejected.
- The candidature of the selected applicant shall be provisional, subject to verification of all certificates and submission of certificate of Medical Fitness (to be obtained only from a Government Medical Officer/Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking) and Birth Certificate at the time of joining.
- At any stage of selection process/during the period of apprenticeship if it is found that the candidate has furnished false/improper or incorrect information, then the candidature/engagement of the candidate is liable to be cancelled.
